How are materials reused in different places? The goal of implementing reuse practices as a way of waste management is common in many countries, yet how it’s done can be very similar and different at the same time, with comparable results.
We had the pleasure today to see how reuse is handled and promoted in different places: Sweden and Norway on one hand, by Ms. Miriam Mekki, Advisor Circular Solutions at Mepex and in Alytus, Lithuania on the other, by Mrs. Agnė Jučienė, head of Reuse Division at Alytus Regional Waste Management Centre.
