The transnational round of our creative competitions has begun!

Our ‘Let’s keep our City Clean’ competitions have reached the final rounds!

In the transnational round we have 4 municipalities from 3 countries are taking part: Mažeikiai and Plungė from Lithuania, Paide from Estonia and Sumy from Ukraine.

Children aged 6-11 or from grades 1-5 were asked to submit a drawing and children and youth aged 12-19 years old were asked to create a video, both around the theme: Let’s make our City Clean!

The first rounds were ran locally with the drawing competition taking place in cooperation with schools. Prizes were offered for best in class, best in year or school and finally best in the municipality. The winners from the municipality wide round were chosen by a panel of judges formed by municipality officials and the project partner from that municipality.

The winners are now up for competing on a transnational level among all 3 countries!

Final entries are posted on our project Facebook and Instagram pages where the public is now asked to vote for their favourite. The entries from each municipality that receive the most votes win a prize offered by the project partner from that municipality.

Voting is open until 26th May 17:00 EET.

But that’s not all! A big prize has been announced for one lucky winner, offered the expert partner of our project, where one lucky winner selected by a panel of judges chosen by the expert partner!
