Circular Economy course featured in local radio

The cooperation between Taltech university and Paide Gymnasium in a course on Circular Economy, an initiative by our project partner from Paide Town Government, was featured in Kesk-Eesti Tre Raadio in Paide on 26th January.

The radio station interviewed Ms. Margit Udam representing Paide Gymnasium and Ferkle, a student at the school who discussed the course titled “Materials for the future and the circular economy”. Other circular economy matters and the project were also discussed.

14 students from Paide Gymnasium are taking part in the course, which is comprised of three modules: 1. Introduction to circular economy, 2. Circular economy in materials technology and 3. Innovation to the circular economy.

In the latter, students are studying and working in the labs with University scientists and students to create sustainable materials out of waste.
