Mažeikiai District Municipality announced the “DAROM 2022 (=Let’s do it 2022)” competition, which started on April 19th and will last until May 2nd.
Companies, institutions, organizations and individuals are invited to form teams of 10 to 50 participants to clean and tidy up public spaces, collect as much waste as possible and sort it for the possibility to win prizes in the form of trips.
There is no limit to the number of teams involved and there are 9 prizes waiting to be claimed.
After registration, the teams will be provided with information on the process for garbage collection, sorting and delivery, and where to pick up garbage bags and deliver the sorted waste.
Those that wish to take part in the competition are also required to take photos and/or videos of their chosen area to show how it was before and after, the amount of waste collected and sorted and also the mood of the team.
