Introduction

Reuse, repair and recycling are all activities that goes hand in hand. One consistent trend in circular economy is the increased effort and initiatives on reuse and repair.

For the upcoming webinar we have invited CEO of Circular Communities in Scotland, Mr. Michael Cook from Circular Communities Scotland. They represent a thriving network of more than 200 charities and social enterprises across Scotland where they empower reuse, repair and recycling activities. They do this through various project initiatives and programmes to support the third sector, in pursuit of zero waste.

Communities Scotland are frontrunners in  preventing valuable products and materials from ending up in landfill, create local jobs, economic opportunities, and help promote and create social and environmental justice in their communities. You can read more about their activities here.

The Circular Based Waste Management project is funded by Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway through the EEA and Norway Grants Fund for Regional Cooperation – www.eeagrants.org.
