I love nature – I sort, reuse: Pre-schoolers learn about Circular Economy

6 kindergartens from Mažeikiai district in Lithuania, took part in lectures on the topic “I love nature – sort, reuse” on 23-24th November. The lectures were given by representatives of CBWM project partners from Mažeikiai District Municipality and Telšiai Region Waste Management Center.

The lectures covered concepts including circular economy, sustainability, waste sorting and collection.

Afterwards, the pre-schoolers could test their knowledge practically by playing a game, where they had to sort waste items into their designated containers. The most active teams and individuals were awarded with a diploma.
