Tried to cancel our contract only to be offered a cheaper price than currently paying. Then being told the termination fee is more than staying put until the end of the contract! If I had gone with the cheaper price (which was still significantly more than offered by another company) I would be tied in to another 12 month. Very disappointed. On a different note the customer service team are excellent and as helpful as they can be

The most horrific company you could ever have to deal with! If you like rubbish never being collected, having to call them constantly every month and being out of pocket then maybe this company is for you!
I wouldn't even give them 1 star!!!!

I've been with 1stwaste for 4 years. Customer service is great. Over the years, I've dealt with different people and they have the same trait. They are good in following up. People needs to realise they have to deal with the depot. If the depot screws up, they get the blame which is sometimes unfair. Anyways, in the rare occasion of miscollect

Jonathan Adcock contacted us about our waste management and provided a very competitive quote,unfortunately we cannot move due to tie in with our existing supplier. However Jonathan was very professional and agreed to contact me again when we can move. The prices he offered were great and we will be moving - Jonathan is a credit to the company, not pushy and on the ball with regard to replying to phone calls / emails

I contacted 1st waste management as I required a clinical waste removal service for my business. I had made two enquiries with other local companies before contacting 1st waste management, and I am so pleased that I did! Jonathan Adcock dealt with my enquiry, he is very friendly, polite and professional at all times. Jonathan promised to give me the cheapest quote, without asking me about prior quotes I had received and he wasn’t lying! £75 cheaper per month with a much friendlier service, I will be recommending you to others!
