Whetstone Recycling And Household Waste Site. We have been using the tip for over 30 years. It has changed so much over the years , and for the better. It easy to use. At the gate you are directed to the correct point to leave your rubbish in to the correct containers.. The staff are helpful and polite.
Take your rubbish to tip to help the environment and its free for household waste. Try it for yourselves.

been here quite a few times,staff are always oleasant and helpful,never had any problems,kept reasonably clean despite so much rubbish being discarded,nearly always quite busy

We did several trips over the Easter Bank Holiday and we have to say that one member of staff in particular, Richard, was very helpful and cheery every time. Nothing was too much trouble for him. Keep up the hard work.

Opening hours state they're open till 4.15 yet if you arrive at 3:50 you'll find a locked gate and all the staff filing out. Waste of time and energy loading the car and driving there

Very well organised and easy to unload your car at all points. Note, if you’re disposing of a toilet you need to pay extra for that and they only accept card payments.

I visited the Whetstone tip today and was taken by surprise by the warm welcome I received there, a young man at the booth was friendly and helpful. I also saw another young man whilst I was putting my rubbish in the skip, he spoke to me and was friendly. This has never happened before, so whatever has changed is a marked improvement from previous times, keep it up it's so much better.

Brilliant service helped guid me to which skips to put my stuff in, very polite , definitely worth going there, Richard thank you and glad to see you back at work, place wasn’t the same most the people are miserable there but you always make people welcome
