Bursledon motors have sorted out our engine which we purchased under warranty and had some problems with. They have gone above and beyond with their customer service. Especially Tom who is the most professional kind and understanding and there is nothing he won’t do to help. His knowledge of boats is amazing, he explains everything, he understands the frustration and stress and deals with customer expertly and fairly. He is an absolute gentleman and genius at his work. He should be promoted. Thank you Tom for all your help with Johns boat, and all the care and service you have given. Highly recommend anyone to go and speak with Tom.

We had a Mariner 3.5 with a seized gear selector. When I dropped the engine off it was noted that the oil was pretty dark. Oil changed and gear selector repaired quickly and efficiently. The staff I encountered were friendly and helpful, they advised how to prevent issues in future. I’m very pleased with the service - thank you!

Steve and his team worked really hard to ensure my boat was ready to go for our first holiday, having bought a well cared for Boston Whaler via ebay. The whole boat was in good shape but I had a wish to bring the 2008 boat to a 2019 spec with an electrical and mechanical refresh. Plugging in their engine diagnostics showed the hours run were lower than advertised. Too many jobs and details to list but BOSS did them all very well. Making the investment and the midlands to Southampton round trips well worth the peace of mind and trust in that my the boat will perform reliably.

I would like to say thanks to bursledon outboards for the good service of the sale and installation of a new 15hp tohatsu on my boat. Everyone one was really helpful. Thanks to max for his help with questions i had ,he was very patient ?and thanks to the two guys who actually came down to the marina slipway and fitted it in dire weather conditions and answered all my questions. I bought a 6hp outboard here for my yacht.
Dan called me back to discuss the options and he is clearly very knowledgeable. Through this discussion I agreed to buy a specific model which had to be ordered from the manufacturer.
The outboard was ready for collection within 4 days as planned, and the handover was hood and friendly. I'm delighted with my purchase.
A small business, but good service and I'm happy to recommend.

I had my Tohatsu 9.8 serviced here and they did it for a competitive price and did it quickly!

I then asked about a part-ex of this motor for a bigger Tohatsu 15 or the like and was given a really good price which I couldn't say no to & was all sorted out within the space of 2 hours from my first email!

Great service & will definitely be using them for my servicing needs!
