Rude and unpleasant on the phone. When I called, I have been told that my car will be taken away a week later. I phoned them again on the day the car was supposed to be taken away, to ask what time that will happen. I have been told that they won’t tell me, and will just call before they leave, to see if I'm in. After waiting all day, they didn’t show up.
Called them up the next day to ask what happened. After some spirited exchange I was told rather unconvincingly that the lorry was broken down that day. Even if that would have been the case, you would expect them to notify you. But before I could point this out, the phone was put down on their end.
My advice is to anybody who wants to dispose of their car is to use Bartletts Metal Recycling. They are faster, will give you more money for your car, and very pleasant on the phone also.

I was a bit apprehensive about ringing after reading the previous review, however the man was really helpful, even though they didnt think they had the part I wanted as it was actually part of a wiring loom, the plug that fitted on a reverse switch which is not sold new, however he said I could come down with the old part and he would have a look, he went and found me the part and it fits and my car is fixed! Im so pleased. Karen

Excellent service , I phoned and asked for a rusty 20 ft sea container to be removed , they texted back immediately for address and arrived the next day , lifted container safely and removed from site .
Very pleased , highly recommended.

Gave a call to see if there was a part i required for my car and spoke to a man who was very patronizing "well it is a scrap yard" was going to purchase some parts from you but wont be now as i feel it was not needed the way i was spoken to shame really.

The guy in the spairs deparment has got to be one of the most grumpiest mouthiest smelly scrap man ive actually come across, has a negative answer for anything hes asked and is very patronizing.
