Been living in Street almost a year, visited the centre a number of times now, never had to wait very long, longest time was about 10 minutes. I always find the staff friendly and very helpful if you are unsure of what goes where. Nice clean tidy site, compared to others I've been to. Well done.

2019-The staff were friendly (one of them was anyway) and after a brief conversation he told me what went in where.
2021-New signage is helpful and the staff were happy to point me in the right direction.

A very useful place when you have rubbish to get rid of that the dustman can not take away. Just watch the time they are open. Street had llimitrd days it's open. (Well's recycling centre is open more often). Friendly staff at Street and helpful also.

A comprehensive recycling centre, you can now recycle plastic pots they go in with plastic bottles you can lift the flap at one end and tip a large amount in easily. Wish they had a similar arrangement for tetrapaks, although I did fine the hole big enough to shove a big handful of containers through in one go.

Garden waste, wood, metal, oil, electrical waste can all be handled.

There is also a landfill skip for materials that just can't be recycled.

Helpful staff are on hand to assist and to help avoid incorrect sorting.

Somerset is leading the way in recycling, we like being green here.
