Had lots of electrical and data cable to weigh in and was my first time at a scrap yard.

This is more of an apology than a review. My last review was somewhat poor and based on my emotional situation at the time. I was just upset with the value of drink cans. Not the recycling centre's fault. I've recently taken some domestic scap and got better than expected. Anyway I apologize for my actions and hope you all have a very merry Christmas.

Recently had my bathroom renovated I saved all the metal and managed to recoup just under £150 to put towards the cost. Very helpful, friendly staff that went over and above my expectations.

Took a load of scrap copper and other metal bits from my central heating system to Henry Orchard and Sons and was very pleased with the price and service from the staff, I had a receipt with the price and weight and the money was in my bank within 24 hours. Brilliant service.

All OK. Yard was a lot better than others I've been in. You can reverse your vehicle into a covered building. Metals, batteries etc are weighed straight on to scales. A docket is sent into the office, where you will need a photo id, ie driving licence. Payment is cheque only at the moment (April 21).wasn't very impressed with price for metals, but that varies with the national metal prices. Overall easy transaction.
