Booking system prevents queues but sometimes I have to wait a few days to get the slot I want.

I had booked a14.00 slot at Farnborough Tip on Thursday 17th Oct.
Unfortunately there was a truck changing over a skip that broke down on the concourse. The queues to get in were long on the road leading up to the site. A lovely lady called Jessie came & spoke to drivers making them aware of the situation. She was very personable & along with her colleague Cory she informed us the site would be shut for the rest of the day. She very kindly took some things from my car to put in a skip. She went over & above in her service to me.

Just visited the Farnborough Waste Disposal Centre, and asked a worker '' Alfie '' If minded removing the rubbish from car as l am unable to lift it.
He was more than happy to do this, which was much appreciated.
Great customer service we'll done.

This is our closest household waste site to where we live. The staff are always friendly and helpful if needed. There is a little shop on site where you can purchase items that still have some use left in them. I have not been in there, however a friend regularly browses and has purchased items in the past. If you live locally to this site, I would highly recommend coming here. This has the advantage over Aldershot, as this is flat which makes disposing of items easier. Please make sure to book a slot though, as just turning up, you are not guaranteed entry.
