We hired a 4-man valise liferaft for the Fowey Royal Regatta Week because it was a requirement of the Sailing Instructions. We looked into a pickup and drop off but Mylor arranged for it to be delivered to and collected from my home in the Midlands. The service was first class.

Without a doubt avoid!
I was optimistic at first the delivery was free so I expected standard 3 to 5 days as specified. Unfortunately that was not the case! The equipment is brilliant but that’s because of the brand.
The one thing I can’t stand more than anything about a company is when they sell you a product not in stock. 1 month a a few days it took to get a compass. It was meant to take 3 - 5.
They didn’t talk to me for a month so I had to call up. Then it was still a few days out. Completing a very intense nautical course with no equipment is not a good start.
Overall extremely disappointed!

Tardy delivery, packaging in shabby condition, half order missing. When I rang and complained Sarah told me "I wish I hadn't picked the phone up now!" I then received an email from Jonathan the Manager to say I obviously have too much time on my hands making such a fuss. This company are all sweetness and light before you place the order, nothing is too much trouble. They are beyond incompetent when it comes to communication between employees, fail miserably at fulfilling orders and treat customers with nothing but contempt once they have your money. Avoid at all costs.

I can only speak from personal experience and can say that I have always recieved first class service from All staff.
I have recently renewed my liferaft and safety equipment which was very competitive in price.

After a shaky start....Mylor came through for us. It was a nautical gift that my wife purchased and then heard no more from them....until she sent a couple of email's. Then she received a reply from Jonathan (the manager) explaining things, and then a few days later we received the delivery over here in Ireland. So all's well....that ends well! Thanks Mylor.
