Very well organized and friendly served integral recycling centre.
I have been using this facility for the last 12 years and is always professionally managed and can deal with the most complex material recycling needs. They even deal with asbestos! (on certain days and times, with limits).
The site seems to be for non business users so there is a height limit of 2m for vehicles but if you have a van they will open the barrier for you. If you dispose private most of materials are free to dispose but if you have plaster boards or construction waste you have to pay about £4 per bag/bucket. Probably for big quantities it is better to hire a skip.
If you come with a big vehicle your number plate will be recorder, I guess to avoid abuse of the free recycling.
Staff is very friendly and always available to help. They do a great work to keep the circulation area very clean and tidy.

Rude Staff
- 2 of them that are working there for a long time and they do rotations between sites. One in his 50’s and one in his 30’s picked on a woman with 2 small babies in the car that was bringing household, nothing special. They didn’t wanted to let her in because she was carrying something small on top of her car which had nothing to do with them . And it’s not the first time i saw those 2 men doing that.
That’s not “Normal”
Ho do they think they are ?!?!

Fantastic service. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble and the staff will always explain where certain items are disposed.
I really hope the staff have the recognition they deserve from the management. They're so hard working and obliging. I will always recommend this recycling centre.

Staff are always cheerful and helpful and the place is extremely well maintained. A shame that so many visitors fail to grasp that cross-hatched lanes should be left clear. It's frustrating to be blocked in by yet another (stupid or selfish?) brain donor. The staff and site are excellent; I wish the same could be said of the users.

Helpful staff
BUT it's supposed to be a no idling zone but lots of the Vans never switch thier diesel engines off whilst they unload
Can be very noxious
