Horrible place. The banksman, a tall, big polish guy was racist, calling me names and speaking in a raised voice. This is not the first time I’ve had a bad experience with him. Avoid this place.

Look, I'll be very honest and transparent.
EMR is one of the best scrap yards in nw London.
The staff in the yard could be a little bit more relaxed and not so full of themselves
The people in the office have always been nice and helpful.

So all in all, EMR is still the best around.

Reluctantly had to scrap our car and emergency willesden made this painless. We went early and avoided any queue. Lisa at reception was really really helpful and gave good clear instructions. Lisa even came out to give us very clear directions to the station 5 minutes walk away. The transaction was smooth with money coming into our account the next day. For us- very efficient, accessible and painless.

Came here to scrap my non compliant ULEZ car. A good experience overall, pleasently surprised.

Don't expect highest of customer service.

If you've never been to these places it can seem intimidating with the amount of Health and Safety Instructions all over the place. The directions of what to do could be made clearer.

1. Approach the weighbridge and go into the office.
2. Your paperwork will be processed by Lisa who is a stellar pro.
3. You're then asked to go and drop the car off at Point 1 and return back to collect the paperwork.
4. A CoD is issued there and then, and you walk off with it.
5. Money for your scrap vehicle deposited within 24hrs into your account.

Can't really say much more. 4* because perhaps the above instructions can be made available to general members of the public on your website, so as not to get confused when they visit the site.
