Very clean and systematically arranged for various kinds of waste. Bays are clearly signed for which type of waste. Easy to dispose, just reverse your car to the appropriate bay and drop your items. Lots of bays.
Went to dispose my garden waste, which must be dropped loose without the container or bags.

If you’re coming from Plymouth, be careful of the exit from the roundabout, missed a turn and your back on to A38 either to Exeter or back to Plymouth

Checked if the centre was open this morning, nothing to say there were any issues with the weather. 20 minute drive and guess what …it’s shut. Really cross 😡😡😡😡😡😡😩😩😩😩😩😩

Well organised and good access. Virtually never has queues to get in.
They are a bit obsessive about rubble and building waste even a small carrier bag full was chargeable. There is nowhere for household waste in black bags (not great if your black bin at home is full).

The staff are the rudest people I have ever met, there's no need to shout at people especially females. I witnessed today the boss man aka King of the dump verbally abuse an older female for using the garden waste skip because it was closed even though no sign was up and other's (men) wereusingthesameskip, he never had the guts to confront me doing the same thing..

We borrowed a van to take a large wooden drawer unit and a bunch of glass jars. They refuse to let us enter because the van contain a sign writing on side of van even its non-releted to our waste. We been told we need a permit, so we asked if it is possible to apply for it, but the staffs didn't seem interested, nor helpful and litte rude. It was cut throat no enter for van with sign writing on side and yet other pick up truck and other vans with more waste than ours was enter anyway. We already checked the council website and notice board outside the recycle site before enter and we met all the criteria, but absolutely nothing mentioned about sign writing unfortunately.

These recycle site used be wonderful to visit and we rarely visit them but we seem get more bad experience more often recently regardless in car or van.

EDIT- we found no sign writing van under T&C page on the website, which took while to read. They seem kept change rules every time we visit. No wonder why there's fly tipper around.

Very easy to use. Staff extremely friendly and helpful - cannot rate them highly enough. Every visit (since the new site opened) has been quick and efficient. Also picked up a very useful 5 bike rack for my shed for £5 at the sales shop. Excellent facility all round.
