Went there last sunday. Great for unloading etc. But went in the shop. Woman in there must have thought that all the stuff on the shelves was above retail prices 🤣🤣

Also do game discs get pat tested? I THINK NOT!!! but was told they do. Usually go in there great people but the lady was very rude and a little bit of a jobsworth i think.

Really helpful attendant kindly lent me some gloves for unloading my old fencing which was really helpful as it was very rough with some nails and I had forgotten to take mine with me! Much appreciated!

Have always found the staff to be helpful, they take a wide range of rubbish and recycle it. They accept everything from waste oil to old bathroom equipment. There is also a site shop selling items which have been salvaged for the rubbish brought in.
Opening hours change between summer and winter so check before leaving home. Also and not surprisingly they close on time so don't leave it until the last minute before travelling there.

What can i say, absolute stars all the staff that work here, friendly, polite and so helpful. Has been very busy at times and you may need to wait, if the queue gets too long they shut the gate and turn you away, so as not to cause congestion on the Ottery to Sidmouth road. Its good if you dont know what they take to look on the East Devon District council web site first, it also gives opening times aswell. Times of opening are later at the weekends this is brilliant.

Always friendly staff, I always find interesting books to read for myself and kids. Today I walked away with a mobility walker, much needed for my elderly mother in law. Thank you to people who work there and people who bring things to be recycled!
