I had a large wool rug that was too big for their dry-cleaning machine, but the company provided excellent service! The assistant suggested I take it to the linked laundrette and use a cool wash instead. She helped me understand how to operate the machines and even gave me change. She recommended a great solution quickly and efficiently, demonstrating outstanding customer service. Thank you!

Dreadful customer service.

Took our curtains in for dry cleaning and altering. Store staff were lovely and really helpful initially.

When we unpacked the curtains afterwards, there were marks/stains on the lining and also little ‘nicks/cuts’ in the lining. We rang them to ask for them to be resolved. The staff said they had checked them personally and that the curtains were not stained by them (even though they agreed they were not stained when we dropped them off!)

Our issue was escalated to the Regional Manager, who refused to assist as we had picked the curtains up 3 weeks earlier and ‘should have checked them immediately’. They had been sitting in the plastic bags as we were not ready to hang them (due to building work needing to be finished). As soon as we noticed the issue, we contacted the store. We shared images of the damage to the regional manager and she has simply ignored our emails.

Our curtains have been stained and damaged during the process of cleaning and altering. They are refusing to resolve this or accept any accountability.

Very, very poor customer service. Mistakes can happen. Just put it right. Such a shame that a local, independent business has such a shocking approach to customer service.

Sadly, you cannot trust this business to take accountability for mistakes and rectify them. Our premium curtains have been stained and damaged by South Coast Dry cleaners.

So I recently used South Coast Dry Cleaners to launder rather a lot of bedding/towels at short notice. I arrived just as they were opening, the till wasn’t even on! The two lovely ladies were super-friendly, cheerful & helpful. I felt welcome. After dropping off my items, I got email updates. On collection, again the two ladies delivered a very warm friendly welcome, and I'm sure they recognised me from when I dropped my items in. They must see lots of different faces every day, so that was rather impressive. I can pretty much decide within the first 20 seconds of whether I would use them again based on first responses, so guaranteed I will definitely use these guys again. Clean laundry was presented beautifully. Ladies……You are an asset to the business. I will be back. Thank you

Andrea offered a friendly and professional service making sure my winter coats were cleaned ahead of the agreed date. This isn’t my local dry cleaners but I will always come here from now on. Top marks.

Very good service and very efficient. Got my 3 piece grey suit cleaned and ironed on a tight turn around, it was much appreciated. Andrea was very friendly and helpful. Would use again.

Price 30% higher in actual laundrette than online (for the smaller machine which is the one I used)!! I queried it, and was advised to email in by the lady working there, so I went ahead and used the machine (not wanting to then carry all my laundry back!) as I thought an honest mistake and that they would honour the price, then update the website about any future price rises. Well they didn’t and were in fact rude about it. To make it worse, the clothes smelt awful after washing and not at all clean (I used the setting the lady working there recommended for my clothes).

Just be prepared that this is clearly not an honest business, and as the laundrette and dry cleaners are owned together, I have left this review on both.

Firstly, I have clearly stated I have left a review on both of your pages.
Secondly, if the businesses are monitored by the same staff (the lady in the laundrette was walking between both- cleaning the machines and answering the phone at the front), the number and website is the same and the email address is the same, it is not a different business.

Secondly, my review is about pricing and prices are managed by the same people (you clearly have shown this by responding to me on both) so the review is relevant. I am warning my fellow local residents that you are not honest about your pricing and not to listen to advice given about the management of complaints.

Lastly, the way you respond to customer complaints is in itself indicative.
