This is the most well organised and tidy recycling centre you could possibly wish for. I’ve been coming here for 10 years, and I’ve never had a bad experience! The staff are well turned out, smart and professional all the time. After you’ve booked and arrive in your car, there’s someone to greet you, and you’re directed to a numbered parking space. As a pensioner, it was obvious I needed help, so immediately someone came to greet me and helped me unpack everything from my car. He was able to answer all my questions and took care of me, as if I was in a five star hotel! Honestly, I’m so impressed with the service. Actually the booking system is brilliant, because you never have to wait in a queue for dumping household waste. You choose a time and it’s always quiet and orderly. I booked at lunchtime for an early afternoon slot on the same day.
It’s obvious that these cheerful friendly guys are proud of the great work they do and I have enormous respect for them. Anything is better than fly-tipping! Everyone should make use of this brilliant service. Highly recommended.

Use this facility at least twice a week. Its local,well laid out with very helpful staff. Sometimes theres just one chap on. Were have all the staff gone? It is very well used and always very busy. I hope there are no plans to close it down. That will annoy everyone who uses it. Well done to all who run it do effectively .

As usual polite and helpful staff. Areas kept clean and hazard free.
Be warned, you will be required to book a slot on line to visit the site,
Unless you are a blue badge holder.

Stopped using Lawford a long time ago due to the long queues, but thought I would give it another try with the new booking system. Brilliant now!! Easy to book and the onsite staff are very helpful.

Nice and easy to dump rubbish, however as others have said the polite staff were not there today.
Arrived on site to be belowed at with a very loud stop! as soon as my tyres rolled onto the tarmac.
The questioning have i booked, who would nowadays dare enter an Essex recycling centre without booking ?

Easy to get to, you do need to book online for a slot. You can't just rock up any more far easier.
