Currently sat in a massive queue to get in. Why is there a massive queue? I'm booked to arrive at this time. The benefit of a booking system should be that your presence at a specific time is anticipated, so why is there a big queue? Might as well just go back to being a free for all with no bookings.

I had an incredibly frustrating experience at the Aldershot Household Waste Recycling Centre recently. The moment I entered, the staff were extremely rude and immediately started insisting that I leave because I had already visited earlier in the day. This was despite the fact that I had scheduled appointments for different times. It was clear that they were more interested in getting rid of me than in understanding the situation.

To make matters worse, during our conversation, a gentleman of Asian origin approached the area. The manager I was speaking to immediately assumed that he was with me, despite no evidence to suggest that. This assumption was not only wrong but also extremely disappointing, especially considering the diversity and inclusion training one would expect the local council to provide their staff.

The entire experience left a bad taste in my mouth, and I seriously question the professionalism and training of the staff at this facility. I strongly recommend avoiding Aldershot and going to Farnborough instead—much better service and friendlier staffs

Awful. Terrible attitude and unfriendly. Rude and ignorant. Feel interrogated because I had a van with cardboard in it so they read the labels assuming I’m dumping trade waste. It’s cardboard and I have a permit!!! Avoid aldershot and go to Farnborough. Much better and friendlier!!

Booked for opening 9am. However didn’t open until 09:25 so stuck in a queue. Do not use! Useless site

Been here twice. Both times there were big queues and the whole system is poor. The staff are ok but go to Farnborough I suggest, much better.

An update, I've booked again as I couldn't get an apointment this week at Farnborough. This centre is worse than ever - I'm 15 minutes waiting in a giant queue that's not moving at all. Allow an hour even if you've booked
