Bought a car from raw2k car was held at this yard arranged to collect it on Monday the day changed so called an made it for Tuesday morning spoke ro a lady on the phone who would update recovery turned up for vechile been waiting over a hr at this point I called up and was advised he would be loaded shortly 50 mins later I called back as still waiting and was called a liar saying my driver not been there that long even when he sent me pictures and then was told I had not called to make an appointment when I even called back to make sure they had recieved the release note and even got a log of all the calls to wye Valley metals and was told if not happy don't buy cars from raw2k again very obnoxious rude and un professional would stay clear of these cowboys do nothing but lie and then said car is up on a rack an needs getting down and was outside waiting just proves what they are

Top prices umm no they don’t its bottom prices better prices at PT moors who are collecting same day aswell for more moor money wouldn’t use wye valley again ! I bet they have staff to put these reviews up

From the first phone call Wye Valley Metals come across totally professional. . I was sent photos of the engine running in the vehicle
The engine I purchased had been carefully removed ready for my early arrival.
Staff were so helpful and helped putting the engine in the van for the commute.
Totally recommend Wye Valley Metals. This isn't my first purchase and certainly will not be my last

Absolute con artists. Weighing in my scrap metal. They round weight down to the kilo on your metal. But if you use a container of say 200g they then take off a kilo. Management were very obnoxious also. Use Recycling Metal & Waste in Burcot Rd much more Professional outfit and not RIP off merchants !!

I recently had one of the company lorries hit my car while I was in stationary traffic, the driver drove off and was followed by a member of the public that had seen the incident to get the details of the Lorrie for me.
When they came back they took me to where the Lorrie was and I spoke to the driver and got the relivent details from him.

I later phoned the company to be told that they would be disputing what happend even before I had told the chap my version of what had happend and that I had witnesses to the event.

All he was interested in was giving me the company insurance details and telling me that he had to protect his drivers.

All good for them as the damage to my car isn't worth my excess on my insurance.

So if you see any Wye Valley Metal lorries on the road just keep an eye out cause if they do cause any damage to your car ect its going to cost you the inersent party as they just pass the buck.

Very courteous staff and great place to just turn up with your old alloy wheels, copper pipe and car batteries etc and convert into money. Take your driving licence for ID.
