I'm so pleased I was able to rehome and restore this lovely old diapason organ flue pipe. Originally it was dull tin, but I painted it gold. Thanks English Salvage!

I bought 3 chairs and when they arrived they were in really bad condition and not representative of the photos at all. They were sent by a third party so English Salvage can't be directly blamed for their condition but their attitude when I phoned to return them was appalling.

I have never once received an apology and every time I spoke to them they just moaned about how much it would cost them to get them back. After a number of calls (made my me; promises to call me didn't happen and calls weren't returned when I left messages) I had to cobble together various cardboard boxes to package them and they were picked up.

I received a refund which excluded the £60 delivery charge. I was told this was policy and I said that because I was returning them because of their condition, this was unacceptable. I was told it be would discussed with the directors and again I heard nothing and had to call back. I got a sulky "I'll just refund it". It's taken month to get all my money back.

Seriously unimpressed. From other reviews this looks like a good company and I was just very unlucky with the person I was dealing with.

A large collection of very interesting doors and antique artefacts - excellent for the discerning shopfitter or if you are restoring an old house. Picked up some great pieces here (they also have a huge selection of genuine Indian screens, doors and giant copper pots etc). Will definitely be returning - curated by the lovely and friendly Woods Family, who have just purchased a larger 8 acre site nearby (Wellington Home & Garden towards Hereford) so looking forward to visiting that soon. Do try a lunch in the cafe - delicious home-cooked food !

Wow.. what an amazing selection of reclaimed beauties!!! I visited the yard last week and I found the staff very informative and helpful. I was looking for a reclaimed door and I was shocked by the vast variety they have in stock!! The hardest part was choosing just one! I will definitely visit again! Thanks to all at English Salvage 🙂
