I had an 11 am appointment today. I managed to leave at 11:03! At least two staff came up and offered to take the items out of the trailer for me, and into the containers. It was amazing! One guy lifted a washing machine out on his own in a couple of seconds; another did the same with a double mattress. I was so grateful for their help as I'm not in the best of health at the moment. They even said they'd drop the bottles into the bins after I'd gone. They were stars, all of them. So very helpful. Thank you guys!

What is the point in having an appointment system when if you get here at the right time or even just before the site is closed due to a lorry sorting the containers..don't have an appointment system in the first place..then people won't get pissed off waiting..there's a massive queue just waiting

Since the booking system was introduced, it makes life much easier. Before booking, the queue of cars would snake up the road sometimes all the way from the roundabout. The most I have had to wait is behind three cars. In my experience, the staff vary from friendly / helpful to couldn't give a jot. A bit more of the helpful would be, er, helpful,

I don't know what's happened since I was last at this site but there has been a real change in the attitude of the staff working here. They were incredibly helpful and polite. A year ago I found them very different. There seems to be some new faces and maybe that's why. Thank you to a great team!

Not for the first time I was at the tip and needed help. Even before I could seek someone out a lovely lady approached me. She remembered me from a previous visit and knew I needed help. I’ve had to make several appointments because of a house move which meant I had lots of no longer needed goods to dispose of. Every visit was positive even enjoyable. Thank you for your courtesy, helpfulness and sense of humour.

Went for the first time today. Had a short wait while they moved some lorries and containers around, but not too long, then in to a very well organised dump. Signage was clear, staff smiley and helpful : one in particular gave me a beaming :"Good morning!" A pleasure to visit, shall do again

Down to recycling centre today Sept 1st 2024. The young chap who works down there was brilliant helped us with a lot of wooden fencing couldn't thank him enough.
