The Gosport recycling centre is amazingly well-organised and clean and the staff are super-helpful. We are renovating an old house nearby and have needed to get rid of lots of items over the last couple of months. On every visit, I have been impressed with the helpfulness and knowledge of the staff, particularly John who has helped me more than once with parking near to the appropriate container if I had a lot of items. Two of the staff helped me with a cast iron bath too. Everyone I have spoken to is friendly and helpful - and usually with a smile. The parking spaces are nice and wide so you don't get in the way of other people or car doors. It's an excellent system. Well done to all the team - and the online booking system is brilliant - so much better to have a timed slot instead of queuing up. Thank you.

A massive thank you to these guys whilst at the tip I had to ask for help as currently diabetic I had a major diabetic drop sugers went down to 3 fortunately the staff were amazing provided me with a drink and a choc bar to help raise my sugers I said I'm worried about time as thought I had only 30min slot two of the guys were so kind and supportive a huge thank you guys for all your support

Always helpful staff. I have a blue badge and if I’m unable to lift my stuff or walk far from where I’m parked they will always come and unload for me. The only reason I don’t give it 5 stars is because it shuts at 4pm every day and usually I can only get help from my son after 4pm to load my car and unload. I wish they had at least one day a week where they started and finished later. Surely I must not be the only person that would benefit from this, as people who work 9-5 are also extremely limited in regards to access.

Very good with very helpful staff. So much better now that you have to book a slot. Every time I visit there is hardly any visitors. I get to drive straight in, dump my stuff and go. Usually in and out in 5 minutes. Still the same

Booked 5.30-6.00 pm slot. Got there at 5.55 and was shouted at telling me I had 3 minutes to unload. 3 strong strapping lads stood and watched as me and my daughter struggled with 4/5 large bags of household waste.
