I have been taking scrap metal to this yard for couple of years when I have gathered up bits . It’s always a pleasure, the guys are always helpful even if it’s just a small amount they don’t mind helping un load . There very pleasant, nice guys even if like today, it was raining they treated me like I’m a valued customer .

I highly recommend coming here if you have any scrap metal to dispose of for cash. It's a straight forward process to set-up an account. Once you've done this it's simply a case of driving onto the weigh bridge and cashing in your chit receipt at the office on site. The staff are friendly and helpful so don't be daunted going. They take all kinds of metal but you need specify if it's non ferrous such as lead, copper, brass etc as they have a different area to weigh that in. Otherwise it's just classed as mixed metal. It's very easy once you've been the first time.
