Been twice in the last week both times had to return one with hedge cuttings and tonight about 6.30 with a boot full of small but heavy brick/rubble items apparently because site is not getting proper deliveries of empty containers. Drove to nearest other one at Kirkby exact same scenario both visits. Is it the council or veolia waste who we need to complain too No Choice tonight but to leave the heavy brick/rubble in car boot hoping that the weight stood overnight does not affect the rear tyres. Is trade waste getting dumped so the containers always look at near capacity? Are vehicle reg plates getting checked to ensure that they are registered to use site ( as supposedly years ago every vehicle reg. had to be given if you wanted to access the site)

Worst recycling centre around here. Sat in the queue for 20 minutes on Tuesday at 2pm and didn’t move. Queue was right back to the man junction. Eventually turned around and went to the one at Bolsover, much better organisation there.

Never been to a more disorganised recycling centre while the staff are really helpful the behaviour of some of the people using the centre is unbelievable.

This recycling doesn't allow transit vans unless prearranged. It can be very busy with cars backed up onto the main road. This is due to the poor arranging of the skips. When u do eventually get under the barrier you can only see a couple of cars infront. You cannot see round the bend, poorly laid out.

We called yesterday afternoon with a mixed load of waste to dispose of. The 3 gentlemen there could not have been more helpful. They were cheerful and even offered to help unload my car. A big thank you to you all!

Disgusting treatment by the staff here!! I had cut all my hedges down and trees back along with needing to tip old mattresses from my disabled children's room and got questioned and basically called a liar that they arent from my house and i must be trying to make money! etc etc wouldnt recommend at all due to this treatment!!!

Staff are helpfull and willing to offer a hand when needed but site is not fit for purpose, its way too small for the demand and that slows everything down. When you visit theres often very length queuesand can easily be waiting an hour to just get through the gate, then if the digger is crushing skips can't get past so have to wait to get back out again.
