Absolutely ridiculous now have provide proof of where you live at the entrance to the tip so had to go back home to get a utility bill . Would of thought they would tell you this when you book your appointment.

No proper signage, made a turn in search of the wood section but didn't see any sign of that. I read other people's comments about helpful staff but i didn't see any staff in the whole section. Why not write on your website or at the entrance the section number of different types of waste?

I turned up at the tip today with a very full load, but although I had pre-booked my slot, I was turned away because I had failed to bring with me my confirmation number. Whilst I was disappointed by the unwillingness of the member of the Hop Oast staff to sympathise with me in my plight, I accepted that he was just following the rules. I was however extremely aggrieved when I turned up an hour later only to be waived through without reference to my booking confirmation, due to to the fact that it was raining at the time and the member of staff clearly did not wish to exit the shelter.

You have to book to go but they will take bookings on the day. Once arriving I had to give my booking code on my emails and proof of address...yes this is all to dump some rubbish lol very extreme!!
A small facility but fine, staff seemed pleasant enough. All looked clean, tidy and well looked after.
