Been using Universal Metals Lancing for the last 3 years, first 2 were amazing, the past year or so haven’t been as pleasant.

The guy who now runs the site is quite possibly one of the moodiest, rudest, unprofessional blokes I’ve ever met.

Took in a safe today, I wasn’t aware scrap yards didn’t take them.
Made me feel like I was a piece of dirt on his shoe.

Will never return, such a shame & I will be informing other guys in our trade not to either.

Used many other companies is Sussex and Surrey in the past, we are based in South London. I will still only use specifically Lancing branch. Outstanding service, manager is a real decent guy. Prices are better than ive taken before, cheers lads

Quick and helpful service. Even helped me unload as I'm disabled.
Money was in my account 2 hours later.

2nd visit explains the previous reviews. Not helpful and there were 2 of them this time.
Bring back the helpful chap from my 1st visit.

I have been using universal metals for some time now and I’ve consistently found the staff to be the most friendly and helpful in the industry. The prices they are paying for scrap metals are up there with the most competitively not the most competitive I’ve ever used. Using these guys is always a pleasure. If only all companies could be as friendly and professional as this.
