Always found staff very helpful and professional attitude. Can't please everybody no matter what but being disabled get same help as anyone else. Can't fault staff they always do their best and are a credit to Renewi. Ps am a customer who appreciates good customer service

Saturday 27th nearing lunch time I arrived with a large upright freezer.
There was an employee having a chat with a customer, and when asked if I could have a hand.
Straight away, he said his goodbys and being extra careful with not damaging my car, freezer out, and gone.

Miserable fkr on gate spoke to me like I was a piece of trash because my postcode wasn't WF despite this been my local tip. I even rang the council before going to make sure I'd be able to dump my waste here nothing was said about using my local district. Because my id had an LS postcode on it baldy refused me entry. Poor service. Went to Morley tip and was straight in no id required. No wonder there's so much fly tipping when the face of the company is so awkward.

Bring your knitting or a book if you plan to tip.on a Saturday or Sunday,45 minute wait and Queed up on main road so be carefull no one runs into the back of you . Staff,only a few of them now do there best but are only allowed to let in 5 cars at a time hence the long wait and dangerous back up on a busy road. Once your in. The site is clean.

They like to close at 4:30 then give you attitude when you state its opening hours atr 8am to 5pm

Despite being a local resident in Normanton, and holding a valid permit for waste disposal, each time I visit the centre I am subjected to a disproportionate level of scrutiny compared to other visitors. On Sunday 03/03/24 & 10/03/24 I was once again stopped and interagated by the person at the entrance and later by the manager, despite presenting my council tax bill with my name and my permit as proof of my residency and my right to use the facility.

This differential treatment was also noted by a van driver who openly questioned why I was being stopped again when my documentation was clearly in order.

This clear level of discrimination is shocking to see in 2024 and have no idea how the council employ these racist minded people.

I have logged a complaint with the council and am waiting to hear back.

Absolutely rubbish (excuse the pun) waiting time is just unacceptable queueing out on the road on a Tuesday lunchtime, absolutely ridiculous.
