When I arrived there, they offered me £1500 per ton for my scrap, and the accounts department confirmed the agreed amount. However, at the time of payment, they transferred me 35% less than the agreed amount and claimed it was a different grade. They also quickly mixed my scrap with other items, making it impossible for me to take my items back. It is evident that they are a fraudulent and avaricious company.

Can’t fault the service provided at all! Booked online and had a call to confirm the day and time for collection of the car. The man who collected arrived promptly and was very friendly, chatty and polite. Payment was made pretty much straight after too - I wasn’t expecting it to be paid that fast and got an excellent price. Would definitely be recommending to others.

It was an easy process, got a quote the following day. Car was collected a couple of days later . Kurt was so friendly and treated the car with respect . He gave him one last journey up the ramp. Even had a phone call to make sure the bank details was correct . Would definitely recommend!

I have taken my scrap to this company for too many years to remember, helpful staff, clean yard, good prices paid, usually quick in and out. Nice clear payout slips. Next day payout to your bank account via debit card (visa only) or cheque. No cash paid out. You will need to have ID such as a photo card driving licence.

I had an absolultly great experience with benfleet scrap from start to finish. They were helpful, friendly and amazingly efficient. They talked me through what would happen and when they would come and get my car. And my funds were transfered so fast. I would definatly use them again and recommend them to other people. The cheapest Scrap metal ever encountered.
Some idiots. they paid for copper at half the price that other scrap metal dealers pay for it all over England. It doesn't even deserve a star. I will file a complaint with them. For 205kg wiron they paid £120.
DO NOT GO TO THEM AS THEY TRICK PEOPLE.

Visited your scrapyard today, had some cable to weigh in, ranging from ally to copper, high grade and low grade. Your guys put my high grade 70mm cable as low grade. I told them beforehand that it needs to be separated and run through the computer differently. He told me to put it all together and went and put it all as low grade. After showing concerns I was approached by the manager, who brought me some single cables and told me that the way to get high grade prices is to strip it like that. Which is obviously wrong as that goes in as singles. I’m an electrician and I get a lot of scrap often, I use many different yards, and I know exactly what is what, clearly more than they do. I then asked him to amend my ticket and return the 70mm cable that I weighed in, and was told it’s now lost in the bins with anything else, so I got paid 80p a kilo for something I should of received £2.50+ for. I walked out feeling robbed and am very unhappy, I won’t be coming back and I’ll make sure no one I know does. I tried to be reasonable and sort it out properly, was told that there’s nothing he can do. I got robbed today.

Easy to deal with, did exactly as promised. A professional and honest outfit. Pick-up driver was on time, polite and friendly. Would happily recommend to anyone.
