After using the centre on many occasions and several times having to wait while they arrange for the containers to be changed over, today I arrived with 14 doors that I had cut into two for me to move into the containers to be told that BOTH a wood containers were full! To be told I could go back at 2.30without a slot if I wanted too … what a joke !

After leaving two great reviews previously, today I meet a gentleman with a round blue hat whose colleagues said was called Matt (not sure if that was true!!). Unfortunately he felt the need to berate me for accidentally going to put my rubbish in the wrong skip and pointed out that ‘the sign is big enough’. When I told him there was no need to be rude he carried on moaning from a distance before informing me that ‘people my age should know better’. I found this quite amusing as he was no spring chicken himself. One bad apple and all that. Shocking customer service.

Easy to on-line book even on the day as long as you show the email confirmation as you drive in. The new system means no queue to get in and fantastic helpful staff. If you need any help to get your items up the stairs and into the bins they are more than happy to help.

I visited 22/3/23 to get rid of a few bits and pieces. The staff there were very friendly and so happy to help with any queries on where to put certain items! I also noticed a member of staff taking alot of cardboard up the stairs and into the skip for a lady with an injured leg. The staff are so friendly and helpful to everyone and go the extra mile! The booking system is easy to use and there was no queues because of it. The only criticism I have is having to book 1 day prior, no on the day bookings, and only 1 visit a day. Otherwise fantastic recycling centre and can't praise staff enough!

Sometimes the ques can be fairly long but the staff here are amazing and friendly. So remember that before you start throwing a tantrum. ?
