Takes a lot of effort to lift heavy items over the wall to get them into the relevant container - when you are paying a hefty council rate fee and you have to dispose off your own household waste it would be nice if things could be made as easy as possible.

Always polite staff whenever I use the tip. One gentleman is very helpful and has on occasion given a hand carrying items. Staff are approachable and direct you as to where you need to place everything. Currently no booking system and so far the place is not crowded or too busy. It is kept tidy and organised considering people are dumping rubbish there. Well managed by the staff who work there.

Update 2022: There is a clearer area where you can leave donated items. Still very tidy and staff still friendly.

Just used the site having pre booked a slot. Hardly any wait time - It was quick, efficient and staff were on hand at a safe distance to guide you through the new changes. Social distancing followed and they really seemed to be in control. Well done all - it’s probably the least stressful tip run I have ever done! ?

Easy to use on-line service. 5 cars in now at any one time, so best is to book a slot on a "quiet day/time" to avoid queues. All staff there very pleasant and helpful.

Having visited the site on numerous occasions. At first I was checked in with s operative. On other occasions I am asked for the code which is generated when doing a booking. Sometimes I am asked nothing, just in empty the car ,job done. Today they insist on the email, this is the email confirmation. I wonder what will come next!!!!!!!!!

The “customer” person, dressed inappropriately, white & black bandana across his face hiding his mouth, head covered in a hat so you could only see his sunglasses lots to say but refused to explain or help, not constructive at all, not a great experience.
He was rude, unhelpful, tried to create and pick a don't talk to us like that argument over nothing, then tried to antagonise me, comments like well don't use the tip then if you don’t like it, very professional!
Next time was better but were not allowed second person to help lift washing machine, they refused to help and just shrugged their shoulders – some help/explanation would have been nice especially after being delayed for 20 minutes past the appointment time
