This company collected my car six days ago, original deal via “Scrap Local”. Money was meant to go in the same day…then the next day…then was promised it would be Monday, then GUARANTEED it would be today. Still not there. Will be reporting to police for theft, and to Action Fraud. AVOID!!

My partner visited Metal & Waste Recycling Ltd Thursday 16th February, after having the copper weighed (which was transported in his hard case for drums and a holdall) he was told he did not have the correct identification for them to proceed with the sale, he had to rush home (during rush hour traffic) to collect correct ID. On the way back he called and they said they would put him items to one side as they would not wait an extra 10 mins for him to arrive. Upon his arrival the next day, the employees were incredibly rude, told him the scrap he had brought in had already been taken and the case thrown out, HIS personal case, that they had no right to throw out. If you (Metal & Waste Recycling Ltd) wish to contact me to discuss/correct this, feel free.

Hit and miss if you get to tip your load quickly. Container drivers always parking in the way but staff are friendly.

Quick on the weighbridge quick load up if your on containers average turn around is 45mins to an hour and thats when its busy!
