I've used Joe Gilder's services on two occasions to dispose of metal while clearing our shed and a relative's garage which was packed with old metal. Gilders run a very convenient Saturday morning collection run in Gloucestershire which is perfect for relatively small amounts of scrap. The team that arrived were friendly, came when the said they would and were a pleasure to have around. I'd done a bit of research into prices too and felt that their prices were fair and reasonable. I'd use Joe Gilder again without hesitation and would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone else.

I went up here to look at a car for sale. I didn't end up with the car as life reared up and bit me on the butt.

Rude, unhelpful and liars.
I called to enquire about scrap collection and the phone was answered by a rude mumbling moron. I was told that they don't collect scrap metal as its not a cost effective viable business service. Laughable really. Their website clearly states that they do collect. When I mentioned this he just said yeah well probably need to change the website and hung up. Wouldn't bother using them. I could only leave the review if I left a star rating. I give them NO stars!
