So much better with the new booking system. Less crowded and less waiting. Disabled badge holders do not need to pre book. Just turn up and show your badge

Really annoying that they consider a small fiesta van or transit connect as a large vehicle . Have to book two weeks in advance just to dump a table and chairs or a couple of bags of rubbish , not every van is gonna take 30 minutes to unload. Booking system needs an update

Took lots of heavy bags full of wood and sand and gravel to the tip this morning and was worried how I would be able to unload it all as I am in my late 70's.I shouldnt have worried though as 2 very nice guys did it all for me. I should have got their names so I could thank them but well done you guys.

Brilliant process.
Booked 1 week in advanced.

Check in process was very easy and they direct you to a parking space (was luckily not given a parrarel parking space ?) and was able to pull in easily.

Everything is labelled very well, be advised that each section has stairs that you need to climb to throw in your items.

Staff member are very friendly. I accidently smashed a large glass panel on one of the metal stairs on the way up, I was so mortified and couldn't stop apologing. The lovely staff member told me not to worry and he immediately sweeped it up. I felt awful but he didn't make me feel a nuisance. Luckily the glass didn't break into shards or cut anyone.

Will use again, given how organised it is!

very poor show that there is not a 'recycling/shop there. brentwood and southend have sections where you could buy old furniture and wood etc.

The staff here are rude, talking about customers loudly over their radios, very unprofessional, nobody to complain to so they can get away with talking to people however they please, disgusting behaviour
