Old School Service! We ran out of bottled gas for our cooker mid way through dinner on the 23rd December at 4.15pm- potentially no cooker for the whole of Christmas!!!!! I called the shop to be told they had just closed for Christmas at 4.00pm but I explained the problem. Sympathetic owner explained that he and his wife were going out to do their Christmas shopping but if I could come at 8.00pm he would open up the shop to sell me the much needed gas. Where else would that happen these days!! So if you are looking for an Aladdin cave of treasures coupled with good old fashioned service, this is the place! From a very grateful customer.

Such a gem of a shop ! Only needed a couple of bits The Staff member was very helpful and knowledgeable! Left the shop with all I needed and reasonably priced ! Big thumbs up!

Excellent store, its the sort of place you can find anything
A great selection of gifts and cards also, they support local artists,
Lovely bread & eggs sourced locally.
Great people. Also the Les services bikes, at competitive rates.

Fantastic hardware shop, went on the off chance they had paper plates. They had, and I also bought other items, in what appears a gold mine of all the things you need! Staff so friendly and super helpful as well.

Great local hardware, food and gift shop. It's range of items is vast and is not over priced. I use to live nearer but still make the effort to go and support support local business. They have a range of fair trade gifts and organic foods that are worth checking out.

Couldn't have been more helpful, great to have somewhere to buy replacement bolts etc without having to drive to one of the major stores and buy an overpriced pack when you only need one!

I love this shop. They have everything you could possibly want and then they have things that you would never imagine you could want, but do as soon as you see them. Service is wonderfully friendly and very knowledgeable. It's worth a detour.
