AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE, DO NOT USE !!!

Had the driver from great harwood skip come down to pick up our full skip and renew with a empty one 2 days ago.

The driver was clueless. On his first attempt he hadn't chained the heavy skip up properly and precariously began to load up. Luckily he had spotted this dangerous manoeuvre and set it back down to securely chain it up.

On his second attempt he hadn't adjusted the piston, left it extended, and as he lifted the skip, smashed it to the side of our 100yr old pillar, damaging it in the process. Whilst trying to set it back down he damaged our steps and driveway. This kept on going for 45mins until he finally managed to change the skips over. Tried to get hold of the driver, but he just said sorry and drove off.

We rang Great Harwood Skips and the woman who answers the calls was very rude, ill-mannered and obnoxious. Explained to her that they've damaged our wall and she abruptly cut me off.
Tried to several times, as has our roofer, but hangs up as soon as she hears where we are calling from.
We have now reported the incident to the police and will escalate it further.
Unprofessional unscrupulous company. Do not use!

My drive gate was damaged when collecting the skip. Driver just laughed. Rang the office and report it, sent email but no joy. Rung again after 3 weeks but lady manager laid to me that never spoke to me and hang up. No bother to resolve the issue. Avoid the company!

LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS -

I did not hire - hired by neighbour, skip company today 31st March 2022 has emptied the entire 8 tonne skip on to their property and mine including hitting my car and damaging my car. Reported to police, skip company not interested in resolving.

I was very happy with the service, small lorry big skip. The lady who dropped it off drove well and the larger wagon removed it with even better skill Happy with the service and happy with the price. Will use again.

Avoid at all costs! Absolute scam. Emptied out skip into the back alley, blocking us and our neighbours in. Took back an empty skip. Tried to call them numerous times, told not their problem.

Please DO NOT use. Ordered a skip, paid £200, was told can keep for 2 weeks, however they came to collect it without my knowledge after 4 days. I had no idea until my neighbour rang and told me. The skip was not even half full, I did not ring them to come and collect it. I had not finished with the skip. The worse thing is they damaged my neighbours outhouse in the process and will not take any responsibility. When you call them, they are extremely rude, stuck up and arrogant.

Very poor customer service, turned up at site today and the skip has been taken half empty. I wasn't finished with it. Rang the office to ask where the skip was. I was told they have a two week policy. I advised the lady that I was not told this when placing my order. This to me is very bad customer service. I have since been told that the company is currently going through court at the minute for not disposing of waste correctly. I will never use or recommend this company again!
