Love the new layout at Smethwick EMR but use Landor Street too. Always great staff at both and both sites usually kept clean so no punctures!!

Avoid this fraudulent place. I visited the new EMR site on 5th March 2022 on Charles Street.
The staff member on the non-ferrous weighing side rigged the machine and printed the money receipts for himself.

A large percentage of what I weighed in that day the purchase receipts were being printed under the weighmans own/another account. (They know who they are...)

The office staff noticed it was being rigged and sent someone down to the non-ferrous kiosk but the matter was completely ignored and the man at the kiosk continued to cash the receipts for himself.

I will be passing this matter to the relevant authorities and I expect the money to be paid back to my account.

This is like the bank cashier taking a cut from your money every time you withdraw cash... its basically stealing.

Don't bother avoid at all costs. Rip off and will keep you waiting hours then close weigh bridge without warning. Been more than once but will never ever go again.they have people waiting on road offering you money loads less than what tat is worth one big con

Quick service and cash straight away only problem the lady I think she is east European, very rude not good for that business at all I don't like to see her

Long queue. Not moving. Single entry. Sit behind the skip lorries. AVOID. You will lose a LOT of time here. General apathy from staff.

You must also drive your vehicle through the place even for small items. Puncture risk.

Abandoned the queue after lengthy wait and sold the metals at Masons Metals near Merry Hill. Process was 5 mins. Recommended.
