Lovely staff, open every day except the odd holiday, small queue to get in but overall excellent. Staff alway very helpful.

Staff are rude and abrupt, ‘enforcing’ rules they appear to make up on a whim — which contradict the information given on the SODC website. In addition, I have, on numerous occasions, witnessed them shouting at different people. It appears that they have no people skills whatsoever.

In addition, there are often hugely long lines just to gain entrance to the place, which undermines its usefulness considerably.

Avoid unless necessary.

What a complete waste of my time. A 40 minute drive (because I am not allowed to take waste to my nearest site) only to be told by two mini Hitlers that I wasn't allowed to leave old dried up paint cans and that I must "mix any contents with cat litter ". Really little surprise that people dump at roadside.

The staff are always friendly, happy to go the extra mile to assist when taking heavy items. Happy to pay the £2 needed due to the item! The staff member was worried due to being shouted at by some. If you had to organise a skip it would cost so much more!

No wonder there is so much fly-tipping in SE Oxfordshire. What's published on the SODC website and the secret book of arcane rules in the site office does not match. Pallets being my most recent bug bear. So ensued a wasted journey and a compulsory 40 mile round trip (so much for protecting the environment) to Redbridge. That's two hours of my life I won't get back.
