This is the best tip we have ever used. It's kept neat + the guys are professionally friendly, helpful + cheerful. Straight away they came out to help a lady yesterday, + have helped my husband in the past. Other experiences of tips are morose attitudes, mini hitlers, jobs worths. Thank u guys for your positive attitude + kindness. It means a lot.

What a fantastic place. Never been to a Tip in my life but decided to give it a go a couple of weeks ago. Am new to Hayling and this place is 5 minutes drive from home. Downloaded the app and booked in on the day. Was nervous on my first visit but the guys were friendly and polite even though I’d parked in the wrong place. Gave me a hand with some of the heavier stuff and answered my stupid questions. Loved it so much it spurred me into clearing the shed, garage and garden overgrowth. Have done around 12 visits in the last 2 weeks and they let me come back with more on a couple of occasions. Am gutted that this wonderful resource is under threat of closure. As well as people’s convenience if will be a blow to the planet as people with busy lives will be less likely to recycle if they have to do up to an hour’s round trip or longer in the summer to get to the Havant tip. And from a mental health perspective the whole experience of declutterring, clearing and being able to get rid of unwanted items and rubbish in an ethical way has had a positive impact on my mental health. Thanks so much to the staff at Hayling Tip.

I recently moved onto Hayling Island and have used the tip on numerous occassions. Always clean and tidy and the staff extremely helpful, even helping me to unload. They are polite and can even have a but of banter and a laugh with them. Unlike those at Havant where they will just stand by and see you struggle with something!!!!

In this horrible world of fly tipping, to even think of getting rid of a recycling centre is just plain nuts. We are supposed to be saving the planet not wrecking it even more than we already have. I have always found the guys there very helpful and pleasant. I also love the things that are saved for resale at a very reasonable price. We need this facility, please.

Went there today, very organised and the staff are friendly and helpful, nothing is too much for them, nice tidy clean place. Always find the staff helpful, if your not sure where to put certain items, and if it's too heavy one of the staff will come over and help you out.

Fantastic people at this centre, very willing to help nothing too much trouble. Shop is great for picking up a bargain or two. Convenient to us on the island

It was dead no one was their and I got turned away for my tipping permit 2 day out of date even tho the booking made me aware of it and still accepted it. The bloke was rude and a utter moron. Even when I asked if I can just nip online and pay the £17 for the permit he said no I had 4 black bags of rubbish I could of just walked them in and still wouldn't let me do it. He made it clear it was personal and I've never met the bloke in my life maybe he knew I wasn't from the island ? maybe I was a toe short of being accepted ? I manage to get rid of my rubbish on the brigthside 🙂
