Known as Maklins Quarry the tip is only open 2 days a week, Saturday and Sunday. The facilities offered are pretty basic but to be fair they cater for the disposal of most rubbish. Disposal is into large skips accessed by metal steps so if your item is heavy or if it is raining you may have a problem. Staff are usually helpful (but difficult at the moment).
