Very helpful staff and friendly. Everything is clearly signposted - which bin takes what.
Electrical are around the corner. There is a small charity shop as well.

Site was ok. But just because I was in a van with 2 dinning chairs a hoover. & 2 meters of carpet & a mattress & the guy said I was there 8 months ago so I could be classed as commercial. I can't help it if I drive a van. But I think he knew I wasn't a happy with his outlook. No wonder people fly tip with peps like that working there. Clearing 4 or 6 items in 8 months I must be racking it in. Complaint made to council

The site closes for about an hour at a time and at random times during the day and if you are unlucky enough to arrive just before a change of container thats just tough luck. They need to wait for all public cars to clear before letting in the lorry but they will not let you walk in a few items before the lorry in and other cars are still unloading. I have been lucky enough to get in just before a lorry arrives in the past but a totally wasted journey today as I arrived seconds after the lorry turned up. I can only conclude that the site is run for the benefit of the employees at the site and not the public. Why not time the skip changes to happen at certain times of the day and let the public know? Why not let people walk in if they only have a few items when other members of the public are still on site? Perhaps a 1 star review is harsh but today it was 1 star.

Always helpful and friendly staff. A well organised recycling centre. In Suffolk we had to book an appointment; Strumpshaw’s open availability is very much appreciated.
