Every time I go here its closed for skip movements and have to queue for up to an hour. Why not do this out of opening times? So many things that cant be recycled or charged extra for, no wonder there's so much fly tipping. despite best efforts to recycle as much as possible its not made easy. I hate having to go here!

Very Rude and unhelpful staff who are total jobsworths with no evidence of any customer service training in their bones. They also mutter under their breath with their backs turned to you so you don't hear the derogatory things they say about you.

Just visited the recycling centre and, as always, the site was well staffed and really tidy. Staff are helpful and especially today when a nice young man, unprompted, helped my husband carry a king sized mattress up the steps to dispose of; a job I was expecting to do! Thank you.

Always hate going here, rude staff with a bad attitude. You'll often get caught up on a long queue if they've closed the gate when they're moving skips around. And you've got to be careful as random items they will charge you for - better to just chuck these away with your household rubbish collection! I guess the only positive is that the opening hours are good.

Well what an experience we had today, we are clearing my mums house of good and not so good items, 2 weekends ago we made two trips in our camper van they were very helpful taking the best bits into the shop and carefully recycling everything else. Today a different story our camper wasn’t camper enough although if we had taken our car we could have transferred into the car at the gate and driven in to unload
What a lot of jobsworth I hope you sleep well
We took more recycling to Exeter today really helpful took everything from our van and car

Used to be great at Ashley tip, staff super helpful and friendly. Today arrived at around 2pm and we were kept waiting til the queue reached the road for a skip truck to move a few skips. Took easily half an hour. Never took this long in the past. Parked up, started taking various bits to various places to be told to show contents of bag which I did, I was allowed to use the non recycling, but the chap next to me who had brought his rubbish (he'd missed the bin men) was sent away and was told it might say non recyclable but it isn't
I was told where to put various things (I can read the signs and if I've ever had a query in the last I asked). Then I asked where I could put old wiper blades, I was asked if this was the only car stuff I said I had more metal. I was allowed to put the wiper blades in the non recyclable bin but then stopped with the metal and told that as car parts not allowed to put them in. I said it had never been a problem in the past to be told that the people running it before weren't doing it properly and they had been brought in to sort it out? It's not commercial car parts my partner changed brakes but they won't take it. I asked where I could take and was told to ring the Devon County Council centre And they wonder why fly tipping is getting worse..
