Visited the site today. Usually the staff are very helpful, but today I encountered a very rude member of staff. He was sat in the box, where you sign in for DIY waste. As I had none I proceeded to a vacant car parking space. He came out his box, and was very rude to me. He has no idea how to talk to people, and should not be in this position. What a shame he represents the staff!!!

Good tip, but very disappointed that my husband was told to put a box of household chemicals straight into the household waste. We specifically went there because the Gosport tip doesn't have that particular facility.

People have to book appointment to drop two bags of garden waste at the site. If I haven't booked they send me away despite already had been queuing for a while to get in. What for do we pay £160 a month for council tax!?

Much used facility for disposing of waste and material for recycling. Bookings required, on line application, available in 1/2 hour slots. Strict control on entry ensures minimal queueing and spaces within a short time due to regulated numbers.
Helpful staff identifying which skips to be used for various items. There is also an area for usable returns in reasonable condition.

We went to Segensworth tip this morning, it was so impressive, everything was organised the booking made it easy to get a spot and the Staff were first class, the men at the skips and the man selling recycled goods were very helpful, cheery and friendly, many thanks to them for their assistance and friendly attitude
