I’ve been going there for 10 years with bits and bobs for my charity.sometimes just gave it to them light metal.but this morning on me man can up to me shouting ..I must say that I have never taken wire in there as my son Is an electrician .so I would like to apologise for my out burst but he was out of order…

Agree with other reviews on here. I took my elderly father's old Ford Fiesta to be scrapped because it was at the end of its life. They only offered and paid £15 for the whole vehicle! When asked if that was the best price I was told to "go elsewhere if you don't like it". This was the first time I used this place, and it has been the last, and will remain so; instead I'll take the chap's advice and "go elsewhere" for any of my future scrappy needs and I recommend others do to - I'm sure the majority of other metal dealers would offer a more realist price and better customer service rather than the aggressive tone adopted throughout my visit to this place.
Conversely, when having to clear my father's house out I was also looking to hire a skip, and this company would have been ideal as they also offer such a service, but my decision to "go elsewhere" was taken swiftly, thus losing this company further business. Moral of my experience: You'll only get chance to rip-off people once, and over time you're the one losing any repeat business a customer may offer. It's a business model I wouldn't touch with a barge pole and full of flaws.

Been here a few times and most of the guys are great apart from one, who always tries to rip you off. One quick look and being told everything is worthless but another guy happy to pay the appropriate prices. Even items marked as stainless he only wanted to pay iron prices. Watch out for his trusted super magnet ! Just make sure you know what you have.
