Used the site for the first time, excellent service, the staff was very friendly and helpful. I mentioned that I am here for the first time and they explained how the site works.
I was lucky as it wasn’t busy so I was in and out in about 20min.

First time I’ve used recycle centre and my experience has been positive, I disposed off old car batteries and 1 lorry battery and staff at the centre have been very helpful and polite. Place is organised, tidy and I am glad that we have facilities like this free of charge.

Terrible, used a berlingo to take 3 big cardboard boxes. Had ID, was refused entry. Told me go dump it somewhere else

I then drive in the car entrance and a berlingo fits under the height restriction. The bloke jumps out in front of me and stops me from using it.

There are so many people willing to brim their car to the max and can go in as much as they like.

This is for the little jobsworth on the gate who sent me away because I never had my drivers license on me. Read your website. I had my driving license on my phone and it says any electrical device will do. Read your website jobsworth

Trying to find a way to formally complain. Normally I don’t have any problems but today a man ( cannot call him a gentleman) really wound me up. Wearing sun glasses , even though sun not out, and a hard hat, stopped me as I had some plastic in a cardboard box, when I said where should I put it shrugged shoulders, I said are you supposed to give assistant as per your notice ? he said you got the boy with you , my 16yr old grandson , I said I’m 69, with a bad back and a disabled sticker, he just shrugged again.
Grrrrrrrrrr

Men working here are rude arrogant and unhelpful and encourage you to fly tip. Advised that the tip is nothing to do with council.

Loaded my small van with garden waste, gone to book a slot and none available until tomorrow afternoon !!!!
So if I go to tip now, there should be a non stop stream of vans arriving all day today and tomorrow morning.
Could it be that they just can't be bothered with vans at weekends. This is why there is so much fly tipping.

Tip itself is very organised.
Website & rules are confusing, booked a van, as was using a van to be told should have booked Diy. Someone needs to explain what is DIY waste & what isn’t ? (We had a broken down shed). Then whilst in tip there was no one there (weds afternoon). Bookings should be just for weekends. But staff very helpful. But they would be as looked suprised someone had actually turned up.
