avoid at all costs. they charged me for warming up the engine when replacing the spark plugs (S320cdi 06), they broke the spark plugs, they couldn't remove them and they made me pay for it!!! Paid under protest. Situation a few years back. The short bloke was in charge of the repair

The owner Chris is a top tier scam artist, he only cares about making money off you and using unqualified mechanics to attempt to fix your car.

You are better off going to Mercedes themselves.

All he wants to do is charge you £100 for a diagnostic of the problem and thats how his business survives.

Do not be a fool and take your car here.

Absolutely Brilliant and honest. I had my AC not working even after recharging the gas.
As a last resort took it to them without a booking.
They were kind enough to have a look to see what was going on. After 10 minutes it was fixed as some sort of error code needed clearing.
When I asked how much is the bill? The answer was a smile 🙂 They removed the errors free of charge.
Very honest as and reliable. Strongly recommended.

I’ve been meaning to write a review for a couple weeks but wanted to see if my vehicle would come up with further issues since my repair. I can’t thank Chris and he’s team enough, I had bought my Mercedes clc here after going to other mechanics and them messing up my car and causing further issues. Chris was very helpful and patient despite the phone calls and having to bring the car back on a few occasions no fault of merc centre . They are my go to mechanics for now on !!! Really hate myself and the person who refer me to them . My E class W212 while driving ABS lights on eventually all lights on and gear stop working them fake non approves called them self Mercedes unauthorised dealer asked me we will charge £100 to diagnostic however due to me stuck and only source of income my car I said ok fix it a boy came put Mercedes computer open fuse box then unplugged ABS main switch and did some thing with computer max 15min and here you go mate your car ok it was might be water but now sorted £100 charged within 20 to 25mins even more then a price of PHD / SOCHALRS OR ENGINEERING however because I need to hit road back I was happy atleast my problem sorted . I took my family out along with 3months old child and same night same problem back again.

Next morning called them here you go MR CHRIS oh we only did diagnostic not any repairs so we can't help you I explained him what happened how long his done charged job last and above said was his reply I requested him can you please help me to take ur engineer with me I'll do pik dropoff and he fix my car as I left it on main road and a diasater last night I had he said NO u bring car on recovery mentioned him its already being recovered so now they won't do again for same fault and Mr Chris was like then sorry mate.

£100 charged by him
£150 again recovery charged.

Mr Chris my advise to you do business but the biggest of all businesses or all religion is humanity have fear of God and be safe from some one cruse.

Awful services garage and management work done . Never ever will use them again untrustworthy .

Dear Chris the boss the list of job was nothing to do with the fault vehicle came to you the fault was ABS lights on the DPF NOX won't stop car to drive . And I came with ABS lights on to be fixed not DPF or nox or collision prevention.

Took car in for one knocking noise and then came out with needing a whole load of other work, which wasn't required and since this work had been done I have had oil leaks and whining noises and socoming from my car, Which weren't there before. They also tried to get me to do other work which wasn't required. I've tried to bring it to their attention parts that were meant to have been changed but haven't and now they are fobbing me of with excuses that it was changed but done differently, which I know is not possible as I have spoken to other Merc specialist.

They charge a lot and create work that is not required and tell you they have done stuff which they haven't done or done a bad quality job of it. Never ever go there even if they come across as knowledgeable and helpful.

To be clear and in response to the garage reply, I had two rocker cover gaskets changed plus lots more smaller jobs and with one side needing doing again straight after I picked it up, 1 month later the other side started to leak and I do believe these never really needed changing in the first place.

Also the centre propshaft bearing wasn't changed even when the garage stated it had been and they just dropped the back exhaust down and did it that way, which I know now is not true as the heat shield had not been removed as other garage has confirmed that. Therefore why would I take my car back if I have no trust in this garage on anything. Finally the car being 20 years old has no bearing on what they had to change for me. All the other work that was required has now been undertaken by another garage and for probably alot less than a1 Merc would have quoted.

If they were honest and admitted to not changing the bearing I would have not written this review.
