I was impressed with this company. It was quick to organise a collection, and Chris arrived in the agreed timeslot (and called half an hour beforehand) and was friendly and helpful. I was paid the quoted price (which was a bit higher than other companies), and I received a sales invoice, the payment, and a Certificate of Destruction on the same day. I’d definitely recommend them.

Best prices by far, outdid every other company. Collection took place next day after accepting the quote, the lad was friendly and on time, then sent the invoice and COD in front of me. money was paid into my account within an hour, didn’t try and knock me down at all either. highly recommend.

Very easy from start to finish, the price quoted was the amount received.

Contact and arranging collection was straightforward and very prompt. Driver arrived within allocated time slot, took necessary details, provided a receipt and was on his way within 10 minutes.

I received the certificate of destruction the same day and I received the amount straight into my bank account the same afternoon.

I hope I don't need to scrap any more cars but I wouldn't hesitate to use again or recommend.

Brilliant. Cannot recommend this company highly enough. If you have any doubts about using them--don't! I had contacted a couple of scrap dealers nearer to home, but their contact was awful plus their offers were very low. I did a quick on-line search and found these guys. I was offered a price well above what anyone else offered. As soon as I filled in the on-line form (very simple process) - within minutes I received a call from a lovely lady in the office. I cannot praise her highly enough ( I believe her name is Jo). She offered me a collection date and time and helped me with a question I had regarding taking my private plate off of the vehicle. Jo was clear, professional and, quite frankly, all business should have a Jo working for them. The gentleman called before he arrived to collect my car (as promised). He arrived, was neatly presented, professional and swift in the removal. I received a Document of Destruction and the cash in my bank (which what was offered on line) that morning. I was rather stressed about the process having never scrapped a car before--I really shouldn't have been! If I ever do scarp a car again, I will not hesitate in calling Abbey - very impressed and would recommend them to anyone wishing to scrap their car. They are register with the DVLA so you know everything is above board. Thank-you so much, I would imagine that not all scrap dealers are like this: first class!

Firstly had an email to say price for the car that was great and kept to that price. Had a phone call to discuss what day and time they could be there. The driver text to say he was going to be a bit early so that was great, had to have my driving licence and bank details. He sorted the rest. The money was in my bank within a few hours.. Couldn't of asked for a better service. Defiantly use again if required..
