I've been using this place for over thirty years after trying all the other local merchants. Never had any problems and always given a fair price.

My advice now however, is to ring around and see who will give you the best price especially if you have a large amount of scrap to weigh in.

If I could give less I would.. the people that work here are proper fraudsters...i took a load of metal to prossers in Middlesbrough who checked the metal fully.. 1 got about 130 quid which was good.. I took exactly the same things to this scamming company and they tried telling me it wasnt stainless steel. I even googled how to tell if its stainless steel and he told me that's wrong.. I went along just to see how far he would go and he gave me 16 quid!!! What the hell.. so one company give 130 another give 16!! Big difference there to set off alarm bells... trading standards here we go.. and people they have been watched and been doing this for years...
